Emerging Philanthropists Fund Check Presentation & Happy Hour Social @ Dream Center Peoria

Dream Center Peoria is receiving a $4,500 grant from the Emerging Philanthropists Fund to support “DCP Coffee”.  DCP Coffee is part of the Jobs Skills After-School Program.  Professional volunteers mentor the kids who roast, package, and sell their own line of coffee.  It’s coffee with a purpose.

Check presentation will begin at 4:30 pm at Dream Center Peoria located at 714 Hamilton Blvd., Peoria, IL 61603.  Happy hour will follow at 5:15 at Obed & Isaac’s Microbrewery.

Women’s Leadership Panel @ Peoria Riverfront Museum
Sep 16 @ 4:30 pm – 6:30 pm

Please join us for the third annual Leadership Panel on Monday, September 16, 2019 at the Peoria Riverfront Museum.
Networking begins at 4:30 p.m. and the panel discussion begins at 5:15 p.m. The $25 ticket includes a drink ticket and appetizers. Cash bar also available.  This will be a wonderful networking opportunity that includes a professional women’s panel sharing ideas on “Building Up the Women Around You.” Bring your questions for the panel. Space is limited so don’t delay!

The panel is moderated by Kim Martin of “I’ve Decided” and will include riveting discussion with the following guests:

  • Rita Ali – Vice President of Diversity and Community Impact, Illinois Central College / Peoria’s City Council, At-Large Member
  • Jessica Ford – President of NAWBO / Immediate Past President of Women in Leadership of Central Illinois
  • Ronda Guyton- Undersheriff, Peoria County Sheriff’s Office / Founder, Living to Serve Foundation, Inc.
