The Illinois Mutual Employees’ Children Scholarship Fund was established by Illinois Mutual Life Insurance Company to provide scholarship support for the children of employees who are graduating from high school or are undergraduate college or vocational students who will be enrolled full time.

Selection Criteria

  • Scholastic achievement
  • Potential for scholarship, citizenship, and leadership

Requirements

  • Must be a birth child, a legally adopted child, or a stepchild residing in the home of a regular, full-time time or permanent part-time employee of Illinois Mutual
  • Must have a minimum 2.5 grade point average
  • Must be graduating from high school or an undergraduate student enrolling full time in a two or four-year accredited university or college, or an accredited technical or vocational institution to prepare for a trade

Past scholarship recipients are eligible to reapply.

  • Two letters of recommendation
  • Name of Illinois Mutual Employee

  • 1st Wednesday in March
