Overview
Goodwill Industries of Central Illinois Board of Directors has established an Employee Scholarship Program using funds from the Mackenzie Scott gift.


What
The Goodwill Industries of Central Illinois Employee Scholarship Program will provide up to $3,000 per year in scholarship funds to each eligible employee (additional requirements listed below). Scholarship funds may be used at any eligible accredited institution of higher education or trade school.
Why
In support of our mission and the communities we serve, Goodwill Industries of Central Illinois will invest in the education of our employees. Goodwill Industries of Central Illinois believes that when we invest in our employees by helping them gain skills, we are re-investing in the larger communities in which they live and work as well as investing in the educational institutions located within those communities.


How
Applications will open February 1st. There is no deadline however, applications are reviewed on a first come first serve basis. Once all available funding has been awarded, no new applications will be accepted until the following February. Applicants will be notified of scholarship awards via email within 3 weeks of submitting their application. The award process will include payment from the Community Foundation of Central Illinois directly to the institution of higher education or trade school identified during the application process once the scholarship request form and enrollment verification are received.
