FAQ’s

To qualify, you must follow the CFCI Facebook Page and comment on the official contest post with a tagged nonprofit.

Only one nonprofit per comment counts. You may tag multiple nonprofits by leaving separate comments.

Organizations with programs serving individuals within a 50-mile radius of the city of Peoria, IL, excluding Knox and McLean county.

Open to all organizations with tax-exempt status under Section 501(c)3, churches, schools, and units of government.

CFCI will verify eligibility before awarding grant funds.

The nonprofit with the most valid tags will receive the $2,500 grant.

The runner up will receive the $1,000 grant.

Third place will receive the $500 grant.

CFCI will remove invalid entries, including duplicates, tags that do not properly identify the nonprofit, or entries that do not follow the contest requirements.

In the event of a tie, the grant amounts for the tied placements will be combined and divided equally among the tied organizations.

No purchase or donation is necessary to participate.

CFCI may disqualify entries that appear to be spam, fraudulent, or not in the spirit of the contest.

This contest may be modified, suspended, or ended if necessary.

We love our friends, but CFCI does not qualify.

CFCI does not fund:

  • Annual / Capital campaigns
  • Individuals
  • Endowments
  • Sectarian religious purposes: Faith based organizations and churches are eligible if program serves the community.
  • Grants will be made to organizations with programs serving individuals within a 50 mile radius of the city of Peoria, IL excluding Knox and McLean County.
