Empowering the next generation of changemakers.
The Emerging Philanthropists Fund is an initiative of the Community Foundation of Central Illinois (CFCI) that brings together emerging leaders who are passionate about making a difference in their community. This dynamic group is made up of professionals from across central Illinois who enjoy connecting, learning, and giving back, together.

What We Do
Through collective contributions, members grow the Emerging Philanthropists Fund, an endowed fund that supports critical community needs through an annual grantmaking process. This giving circle model allows members to amplify their impact without needing significant personal wealth. By pooling donations, the fund grows, allowing for a portion to be granted to local nonprofit organizations each year.
