Who:
On Monday, September 16, 2019 the Women’s Fund of the Community Foundation of Central Illinois will host its 3rd annual Leadership Panel from 4:30 – 6:30 p.m. at the Peoria Riverfront Museum.  The primary purpose of the Women’s Fund is to support programs that address the needs and goals of women and girls in the central Illinois area. They do this through grants made from their endowment at the Community Foundation of Central Illinois.

What:
The theme for the panel discusion this year is “Building Up the Women Around You.” The panel will be moderated by Kim Martin of “I’ve Decided” and will include riveting discussion with the following guests:

  • Rita Ali – Vice President of Diversity and Community Impact, Illinois Central College / Peoria’s City Council, At-Large Member
  • Jessica Ford – President Elect of NAWBO / Immediate Past President of Women in Leadership of Central Illinois
  • Ronda Guyton – Undersheriff, Peoria County Sheriff’s Office / Founder, Living to Serve Foundation, Inc.
  • Christine Kahl – CEO, Phoenix Community Development Services
  • Nikki Romain – Co-Founder and Executive Director, Artists ReEnvisioning Tomorrow Inc.

The $25 ticket includes a drink ticket and appetizers. A cash bar will also be available.  Sponsors for the event include David Vaughan Investments, Hecht Stout Insurance, and Miller, Hall & Triggs, LLC.
