Who:
On Tuesday, April 23, 2019 the Community Foundation of Central Illinois (CFCI) will host its Spring Grants Reception
from 3:00 – 4:00 p.m. to recognize the recipients of the Community Arts Grants, The Arts Mean Business Fund Grant,
and the Jean M. Ligon Animal Welfare Grants. Through the support of our generous donors, CFCI was able to award
a total of $48,356 to nonprofit organizations providing arts and animal welfare related programs and services in
Peoria and surrounding communities.

What:
2019 Spring Grants Reception: Representatives from nonprofit organizations that are the recipients of the 2019
Community Arts Grants, The Arts Mean Business Fund Grant, and the Jean M. Ligon Animal Welfare Grants will join
the CFCI Board of Directors, review committee volunteers, CFCI fund holders and their fellow nonprofit colleagues
for a brief reception celebrating their receipt of over $48,000 in grant support. A brief program will begin at 3:15
p.m. during which CFCI CEO Mark Roberts and Sarah Fletcher, Director of Grants and Community Initiatives, will say
a few words and present the recipients with their grant awards.
